Parents Creating Observer Accounts

Purpose:

The purpose of this article is to show parents how to sign up for an observer account. For this account to be made you will need an email address and a pairing code that the student can generate.

To generate a Pairing Code

Access your students account by having them log into canvas.

Click on the profile picture in the top left and select "Settings"

On the right side of the page select "Pair with Observer" and copy that code produced.

To create Observer Account

Navigate to the Davinci Academy Website: https://www.davinciacademy.org/
Hover over 'Logins' and select 'Canvas Logins'

Click "Parent of a Canvas User? Click Here For an Account"

Input your Name and email, and create a password for the account

Input Pairing code copied from students account

To add other students

On your observer dashboard select your students name.

Click "+ Add Student"

Enter Pairing Code from their account and click pair
