Step 1: Navigating to bell webpage


  • Go to Chrome browser

  • In the address bar, type in the IP of the bells. 

    • Kaysville location: 172.43.101.12

    • Secondary: 172.23.11.32

Optional: Creating a desktop shortcut 

-Single click the address in the address bar of google chrome so it highlights

-Click and drag the highlighted text to your desktop to make an icon for the bells


Step 2: Log into the bells


-On the bell webpage, find the password box. Type in the password for the bells as specified below 

    -Kaysville Password: Dr@g0ns!

    -Secondary Password: algo


Step 3: Editing/Creating the bell schedule


-Go to the scheduler tab 

-Go to “schedules”

-Create a new schedule by clicking “add new bell schedule”

    OR    

-Edit a preexisting schedule by selecting the desired schedule on the left hand side of the screen

-Click “add event” to add another bell sound to the schedule

-Click the X to delete a bell.
-Use the description, time, and audio to name, select a time and sound for your bell. Set all bells to “all call” as zones are not available with our bells.
--time is a 24 hr clock. So 3:45pm is 14:45:00 on the clock.

-click save at the end

Notes: 

-Only one schedule can be applied to a day.

-Kaysville Location: Certain bell sounds may not play on both the north and south sides of the building i.e. Zone2Bell.wav plays on the south side of the building. The bell sound that plays on both sides of the building is labeled "KaysBells.wav"


Step Four: Uploading a schedule to play on a specific day

-navigate to scheduler tab
-navigate to calendar tab
-select which schedule you’re applying with the drop down menu

-click on the days you want this schedule to play
-to clear a schedule on a day, select “None (clear)” from the schedule drop down and click your days.
-click save
